About The Position

Join the dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) team at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. You will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services, managing patients with various cardiac rhythm disturbances and procedures. A dedicated orientation and training period (30–90 days) will be provided, based on your experience. You will collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, residents, and other NPs/PAs to ensure appropriate patient follow-up and care coordination.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered Massachusetts NP or PA License with prescriptive authority.
Master’s Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
Certification by a national board certifying organization.
Proven excellence in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment, along with strong interpersonal skills and clinical expertise.

Nice To Haves

12 months of CCU/ICU/cardiac telemetry nursing and/or Cardiology ARNP or PA experience.
Candidates with Cardiology/Electrophysiology and Cardiac Device experience are highly preferred.
Advanced practice license in New Hampshire is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new/established patients with cardiac rhythm issues.
Facilitate workup for procedures like Catheter Ablation, Left Atrial Appendage Closures, and CIEDs (Pacemakers/ICDs).
Perform CIED device interrogations, evaluate remote monitoring, and serve as a resource for the Pacemaker/ICD Clinic.
Follow up with patients after implant procedures, cardioversions, antiarrhythmic therapy, and ablations.
Evaluate unscheduled/”drop-in” patients requiring device interrogation or acute arrhythmia management.
Provide care in the Interventional Cardiology Hold Unit (ICHU) and on the medical floor for the EP patient population.
Perform Cardioversions and Loop Monitor implants/explants.
May require clinical rotation to an outside affiliated clinic (New Hampshire and Massachusetts).
