About The Position

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Heart & Vascular has a new opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join their growing Electrophysiology team in the western Chicago Suburbs. This role involves outpatient clinic work and inpatient rounding. The affiliated hospitals are UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, GlenOaks, Hinsdale, and La Grange, which are part of UChicago Medicine, a top academic medical center, and AdventHealth, a large health system.

Requirements

• Master's degree of Nursing required
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of APP experience in Electrophysiology experience

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic work
• Inpatient rounding at Hinsdale, La Grange, and Bolingbrook hospitals
• Inpatient weekend rounding rotation (1:6)
