About The Position
OSF HealthCare St. Luke Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our growing Hospital Medicine Program in Kewanee, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, patient-focused team committed to delivering exceptional inpatient care in a community-centered hospital setting. As an APN Hospitalist, you will work alongside experienced Hospitalist physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive management of hospitalized adult patients. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN/APN) license or eligibility
- Board certification as: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Nice To Haves
- Previous inpatient, hospital medicine, acute care, critical care, or emergency medicine experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage admissions, daily rounding, patient evaluations, care coordination, and discharges
- Work closely with nursing, case management, specialists, and ancillary services
- Utilize Epic electronic medical record system
