About The Position

Turner Specialty Services, LLC is seeking an experienced API Inspector (510 / 570) Planner for work in the Plaquemine, LA area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 510/570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager and involves close supervision with assigned duties according to specific procedures, with work being checked frequently. This is a local position to the area with no per diem.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• API 510/570 Certification
• TWIC card is required
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Nice To Haves

• Ability to follow and draw isometric drawings

Responsibilities

• Generate weld repair plans and ITP's
• Review work packages for Mechanical (welding, pipefitting, boilermaking), soft-skill (Scaffolding, Painting, Insulation), civil, rigs all sizes, QA/QC, X-Ray, hydro blasting, etc.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
