About The Position

HMT has a need for an API 510/570 certified Inspector to assist with performing inspections in accordance with current API standards and recommendations. This role involves performing internal/external inspections per customer's scope of work, maintaining positive relationships, interpreting technical documents, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Requirements

• Must have current API 510/936 Certification
• Minimum 3-year 510/936 work experience
• Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in damage mechanisms
• Must have current TWIC Card
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be competent and thorough in report writing and recommendations
• Must have good computer skills
• Must be familiar current API codes
• Must be knowledgeable in NDE processes required for inspections and repair
• Must be able to pass DISA background and Drug Screen (hair follicle)
• Must be able to pass a FIT test and perform inspections under supplied air

Responsibilities

• Perform API 510/570 internal/external inspections per customer’s scope of work
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer
• Properly interpret ITP’s, equipment drawings, client specifications, codes and industry standards
• Ensure that all site and HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed
