About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 Inspector with CWI for full-time work in Salt Lake City, UT. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 510/570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager and involves close supervision with assigned duties according to specific procedures, with work being checked frequently. Local candidates only, no per diem will be provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• API 510/570 Certification, CWI required
• TWIC card is required
• Valid API certifications and relevant experience
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Nice To Haves

• Ability to follow and draw isometric drawings

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
• Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
