About The Position

Join a dynamic engineering team as an API Developer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing enterprise-wide API infrastructure. This position focuses on driving the migration from Apigee Edge to Apigee X/Hybrid, ensuring seamless API traffic management and scalability for a major organization. Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge.
• Direct experience with Apigee X or Apigee Hybrid environments.
• Track record of successful API gateway migration projects.
• Deep understanding of API design, development, RESTful services, and web API concepts.
• Proficiency in API security and traffic management principles.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with managing enterprise-scale API ecosystems and high-volume traffic.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy API proxies using Apigee platforms.
• Develop and configure Apigee policies, traffic management rules, scripts, and workflows.
