About The Position
We are seeking an experienced API Architect with a strong background in Node.js development, particularly using the NestJS Framework. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks, as well as expertise in Azure Cloud, JEST, Swagger, MongoDB, and Redis Cache. This role involves developing and maintaining server-side network components, ensuring database performance and responsiveness, and collaborating with front-end developers. You will be responsible for designing customer-facing UI and back-end services, writing efficient and testable code, implementing security protocols, and providing technical support. Documentation, process improvement, and staying current with Node.js advancements are also key aspects of this position. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.
Requirements
- 8-9 years' experience as a Node.js developer with NestJS Framework
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge on Azure Cloud, JEST, Swagger, MongoDB and Redis Cache
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
- Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
- Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
- Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
- Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
- Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
