Requirements

• 3+ years of claims experience (commercial transportation preferred)
• Strong understanding of coverage, liability, and claims handling practices
• Familiarity with deductibles, sub-limits, and SIRs
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjuster licenses
• Compliance & Data Security: Follow SOC 2 standards to ensure all data is handled securely and accurately, while supporting compliance and audit readiness.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with estimating tools like CCC or AdjustRite is a plus
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and claims systems (FileTrac a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Handle and adjust Auto Physical Damage claims for commercial transportation
• Review coverage, investigate claims, determine liability, and evaluate damages
• Manage claim files to ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution
• Oversee litigated claims and support the litigation process
• Coordinate with vendors, including independent adjusters
• Identify subrogation opportunities and assist with salvage recovery
• Communicate clearly with insureds, clients, agents, and brokers
