About The Position

Algarita Lakeside is currently seeking Make Ready Technicians for our Apartment Communities in San Antonio, TX. This role is crucial in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, ensuring the property remains clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for residents. The technician will also be responsible for grounds maintenance, including snow removal and cleaning of common areas, and will provide outstanding customer service to residents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with apartment make-readies, grounds maintenance, and handling basic maintenance requests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
