About The Position

Tarantino Properties is currently seeking Make Ready Technicians for our Apartment Communities in San Antonio, TX. This role is essential in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, maintaining the grounds, and providing outstanding customer service to residents. The technician will also be responsible for keeping the property clean and free of trash and debris, assisting the maintenance team with light tasks, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
