About The Position

IMMEDIATELY HIRING - APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECH (FULL-TIME) Join our awesome maintenance team in Georgetowne Apartments (288 apartment home community)! This is a hands on job that will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and some shared on-call (on-call at this property only). Requirements

2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
Dry walling including painting and carpentry
Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
Problem solving skills
Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in HVAC with EPA certification and/or boiler system knowledge
Preferred Pool experience with CPO certification
Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas

Responsibilities

Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
Exterior structural maintenance as needed
Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Snow removal
Pool maintenance (where applicable)
Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)

$21-25 an hour
Annual opportunity for a raise
Quarterly maintenance bonus structure, up to $750.00
On-Call Bonus, $100. If on-call on a holiday=$50 for that day
