About The Position

Monarch Property Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Van Buren Village Apartments in Kettering, OH. This is a year-round, stable 40-hour per week position with a schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role includes being on-call once every five weeks, with a bonus for on-call duty and paid time for call-outs. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• EPA Universal Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
