About The Position

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at their Perimeter Circle apartment community in Sandy Springs, GA. This role utilizes industry-leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance, allowing technicians to assist residents efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for new residents (turns) and resolving service requests to ensure current residents feel at home. The position involves daily challenges and opportunities to contribute to resident satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building maintenance.
Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks, and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
Comfort with physical activity, including the ability to move heavy equipment and machinery.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Detail-oriented problem solver.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
Complete basic apartment turns to prepare apartments for new residents.
Complete resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing/replacing plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances.
Provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians.
Assist with managing vendor quality.
Perform move-in/move-out inspections.
Respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
