About The Position
We’re seeking a hands-on and dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment community clean, safe, and in top condition. You'll handle routine repairs, emergency maintenance, and ensure a high standard of living for our residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in various conditions (heights, tight spaces, weather)
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred in apartment communities
- RealPage experience a plus
- Trade school or industry certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and apartment unit turnovers
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, including on-call support
- Maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Keep grounds clean, including landscaping and snow removal
- Ensure property is safe and meets code requirements
- Use and maintain tools and equipment properly and safely
- Prepare vacant units for new residents
- Clean and maintain common areas
- Order maintenance supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and attend required training
