About The Position

Bear Real Estate Group is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our stunning, Mariner property located in St. Francis, WI. You will work amongst a team of professionals within a breathtaking community with premium amenities. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep and functionality of the property, including residential units, common areas, and building systems. Up to $2,000 Sign-on bonuses apply only to candidates hired through direct application channels and do not apply to agency-submitted candidates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
  • Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and work orders from residents and management.
  • Conduct inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and resolve issues.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal, landscaping, and snow removal as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with emergency maintenance as needed, including after-hours on-call duties.
  • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
  • Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
