About The Position

We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for full-time, year-round stable work with a Monday-Friday schedule. This hands-on role involves handling make-readies, work orders, grounds maintenance, and shared on-call duties. Monarch values its employees and offers bonuses and company-paid annual events. Requirements

2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
Dry walling including painting and carpentry
Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
Some knowledge of HVAC and/or boiler system knowledge required (where applicable)
Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
Problem solving skills
Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

Nice To Haves

Housing inspection experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
Exterior structural maintenance as needed
Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Snow removal (when applicable)
Pool maintenance (where applicable)
