We are actively searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Apartment Maintenance Technician to join the CVG Properties team in North Phoenix working at The Enclave at Paradise Valley Apartments. As a community maintenance team member, you will prepare vacant apartments for new residents, respond to and complete resident requests for maintenance and demonstrate a high-level of customer service at all times. The Maintenance Supervisor/Technician will work to ensure the community meets all safety standards, site appearance standards and that all apartments, equipment and amenities are maintained in good working order.

Requirements

  • At least one year experience in apartment maintenance/property management
  • HVAC experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to read/write English
  • Knowledge of working safely with power tools and electricity
  • General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to the community (i.e. Freon recovery, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools)
  • Understand and abide by Fair Housing laws

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
  • Respond to and complete resident requests for maintenance
  • Demonstrate a high-level of customer service at all times
  • Ensure the community meets all safety standards
  • Ensure site appearance standards are met
  • Maintain all apartments, equipment and amenities in good working order
  • Handle shared on call emergencies and responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, blinds, ceiling fans, windows, locks, roofing, A/C and heat repair, pool/spa maintenance
  • Complete turns
  • Complete work order requests in a timely manner
  • Perform other maintenance related job duties as assigned by the property manager and maintenance supervisor
  • Participate in all mandatory training
  • Accurately complete on-call and site inspection logs, service requests, pool logs and maintenance checklists in a timely manner
