About The Position

The Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II position is a full-time role based at Cannery Park, with shared on-call responsibilities with the Pavona team. Cannery Park is a mid-rise apartment community with 403 units, and Pavona Apartments is a garden-style community with 232 units. Successful candidates can come from various backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. The role requires intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry, as well as availability for rotating on-call schedules for after-hours and weekend emergency response. Windsor Communities is recognized for its Overall Customer Service, receiving the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award for the fifth consecutive year.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
