About The Position

We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for our apartment community Indigo West in Orlando, FL. This is an opportunity to lead a maintenance operation, develop a skilled team, and make a lasting impact on a community residents are proud to call home. Working alongside community leadership, you'll oversee maintenance operations, capital needs, vendor partnerships, and service delivery while ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical maintenance and facilities management experience in the property management industry.
  • 1+ year of experience leading a team in customer service and asset maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting property maintenance issues.
  • Experience managing vendors, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, resident service requests, and operating budgets.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and work a flexible schedule based on community needs.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative maintenance, apartment turns, resident service requests, and vendor relationships.
  • Drive maintenance strategies that support resident satisfaction, asset preservation, and operational performance.
  • Partner with community leadership to identify, prioritize, and address property maintenance and capital needs.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and resources with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, Environmental Health & Safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
