About The Position

Berger Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Stonecliffe Apartments in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The role combines hands-on maintenance work with leadership of a skilled maintenance team. The manager keeps the apartment community operating smoothly, addresses maintenance challenges, coaches team members, and looks for ways to improve efficiency and service. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation for one week every third week.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience managing a team.
Apartment or hotel experience required.

Nice To Haves

HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a skilled maintenance team.
Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
Prepare vacant homes for move-in.
Maintain the grounds, amenities, and common areas.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Participate in snow removal.
Share on-call shifts as part of a rotation.
Provide residents with friendly, professional service.
Look for ways to improve efficiency.
