About Etched Etched is building AI chips that are hard-coded for individual model architectures. Our first product (Sohu) only supports transformers, but has an order of magnitude more throughput and lower latency than a B200. With Etched ASICs, you can build products that would be impossible with GPUs, like real-time video generation models and extremely deep & parallel chain-of-thought reasoning agents. Job Summary We’re hiring an Accounting Operations Manager to own order-to-cash operations, RMA workflows, and close support. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of Accounting, Sales, and Operations, focused on making sure customer orders and returns are accurate, compliant, and cleanly reflected in financial reporting. You’ll be close to the details. You’ll run core processes day to day while also helping design systems and controls that scale as Etched grows. This role is well-suited for someone who likes being in the flow of transactions, understands how operations hit the GL, and wants real ownership.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
• 5+ years of progressive AP experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP best practices, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar); comfort with scaling systems in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily AP operations, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution.
• Drive improvements in AP workflows by implementing technology and process automation to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements; maintain proper documentation and approval workflows.
• Own annual 1099 reporting and use tax reporting.
• Support the monthly close process by reconciling AP subledgers, preparing accruals, and providing reporting/analysis to Finance leadership.
• Partner with Procurement, FP&A, and business teams to ensure accurate coding, cost tracking, and budget alignment.
• Lead and mentor AP staff, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
