Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in accounts payable required.
- Advanced analytical and investigation skills.
- Advanced industry and accounting program knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Construction industry or construction project accounting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review transaction reports, adjust errors and process journal entries.
- Identify issues, streamline processes and develop procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable aging to the general ledger monthly.
- Enters checks into the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and file records.
- Matches invoices, purchase orders and receivers prior to payment distribution.
- Matches invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support.
- Leads or supports annual 1099 reporting and auditing.
