AP Calculus BC Math Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time AP Calculus BC Math Tutor to provide high-quality instruction in accordance with C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students’ academic growth and development. Tutors must be able to teach in person. Sessions take place after school to accommodate students, typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Schedules may vary by location. The position is based at the Mission Viejo C2 location in Mission Viejo, California, and offers $24.00–$30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
- Ability to tutor in person.
- Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are relevant to the position and students' needs.
