About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking an AOI Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Danbury, CT. The role involves programming, troubleshooting programming, and processing boards through Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). The shift is Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with a pay rate of $19/hour.

Requirements

• Technical school or associates degree in electronics or experience in production of printed circuit boards preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills
• CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, or similar computer experience preferred
• Understanding of orientation of parts on PC boards
• Ability to read and interpret a part number
• Basic computer skills
• Microsoft Office
• Orbotech software experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and troubleshoot programs for the AOI
• Organize workflow through the process
• Alert production operations of any ongoing defects in products
• Visual inspection of PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering
• Setup and run placement machines as required
• Work within other areas of department when needed
