About The Position

Top Gun Staffing is seeking an experienced AOI Programmer & Flying Probe Test Operator to join an electronics manufacturing team. The position focuses on programming, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to ensure electronic assemblies meet quality standards. The role works with Saki AOI inspection systems and SPEA 4050 flying probe testers in a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) environment.

Requirements

Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly.
Hands-on experience with Saki AOI programming and operation.
Experience operating a SPEA 4050 flying probe tester.
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and PCBA inspection.
Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies to the component level.
Basic programming skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read component datasheets and interpret inspection results.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or technical school certification in electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

Program and operate Saki AOI inspection equipment and SPEA 4050 flying probe testers.
Develop, install, debug, and update inspection and test programs.
Create data packages for flying probe test program development.
Inspect populated printed circuit boards for component placement and solder defects.
Use microscopes and IPC-A-610 standards to evaluate PCB quality.
Identify electronic components and interpret component datasheets.
Troubleshoot failed circuit boards down to the component level.
Review inspection results and communicate defects to production and quality teams.
Perform preventive maintenance, back up programs, and coordinate annual equipment calibration.
Assist with program-related issues and provide technical support to other shifts.
