Reporting to the Executive Assistant, this position has a direct and daily impact on the reputation and operations of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government. The incumbent must value their ability to be punctual, reliable and dependable, strive to maintain an environment that is organized, tidy and structured, be capable of establishing a respectful rapport with jëje-in, citizens and the public, and also be able to cope professionally with shifting priorities, high workloads, and managing difficult people and situations. The Auxiliary On-Call Receptionist may be privy to highly confidential correspondence and information. Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment. An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.
