About The Position

Crystal Clean (CC) is a leading environmental waste services company seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team. The Antifreeze Sales and Service Rep (AFSR) will be responsible for applying sales strategies to grow CC’s antifreeze business at new and existing customer sites. The role also involves performing hazardous waste services at customer facilities, including handling pump hoses, pumping antifreeze containers, and operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle daily. This position may also require picking up waste drums of varying sizes and weights using CC-approved material handling equipment. Crystal Clean offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement. The compensation for this role is comprised of a weekly base salary, plus bonuses and uncapped commission. Average Annual Earnings: $70,000-$85,000 plus a year.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT.
  • Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds CC’s published standards including seat belt and cell phone violations, excessive speeding, DUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisions.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc.
  • Must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors consistent with all CC safety guidelines.
  • Customer service and new business development in an assigned geographic area.
  • Aligning work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
  • Inspecting vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
  • Servicing existing customers by delivering new antifreeze, recycled antifreeze, collecting used antifreeze, and related tasks.
  • Pursuing additional services with existing accounts.
  • Assessing potential customer needs, presenting CC products and services, and developing new customers.
  • Developing sales leads for Data-Marketing.
  • Completing all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • Achieving sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development.
  • Adhering to all corporate policies and standards including environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
  • Handling of pump hoses, pumping of antifreeze containers, and operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Picking up of waste drums of varying sizes and weights using CC-approved material handling equipment.
