About The Position

This position is responsible for the implementation of the Anti-Human Trafficking Program in the Greater Cincinnati area. The role involves overseeing the program, providing direct services to victims of sex and labor trafficking, coordinating with partner agencies, and managing case management activities. Additionally, the position serves as the Coalition Manager for End Slavery Cincinnati, involving outreach, meeting facilitation, and community response coordination. The role also includes supervising Anti-Human Trafficking staff, preparing program reports, and collaborating with other departments for fund management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Social Work or other Bachelor’s degree in related field, required.
• Experience providing comprehensive care for survivors of human trafficking and/or other victimizations.
• Experience working with local, state and national anti-trafficking coalitions and efforts.
• Ability to secure and maintain driving privileges in Ohio and maintain car insurance.
• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Anti-Human Trafficking Program in the Greater Cincinnati area.
• Provide direct services through the management of the Well Drop-In Program and comprehensive care for victims of sex and labor trafficking, to include: Coordination with partner agencies for referrals, utilization of Salvation Army and other resources for basic needs, development of safety and service plans, provision of case management, linking survivors with resources for ongoing care, maintenance of accurate case notes, and timely completion of reports.
• Support the coordination and share the responsibility of participating in outreach programming, as appropriate.
• Serve as the Coalition Manager for End Slavery Cincinnati, to include: Continuing and expanding existing ESC efforts, convening regular coalition meetings and preparing minutes, participating in statewide anti-trafficking efforts, coordinating community response to gaps in services and awareness, and participating in public awareness and education efforts.
• Provide supervision to Anti-Human Trafficking staff persons, including case advocates and other staff as applicable. Supervision is to include: Onboarding and professional development, oversight of case planning and ensuring trauma-informed services, supporting staff in ethical decision making and evaluation of mandatory reporting options, and oversight of case records and documentation.
• Prepare program reports as needed for funders, Salvation Army statistics, etc.
• Coordinate with other departments as a part of program management, including Development and Finance for the raising and management of funds, respectively.
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
