About The Position

The Effector RF Products Department (ERFP) is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for a RF antennae position. In this role, the candidate will be a contributor in the development of RF products and technologies including antennas, RF electronics, and supporting test equipment as part of a multi-discipline team. A successful candidate is one with the skillset and passion required to solve complex engineering problems, properly apply engineering tools and processes, and leverage knowledge from previous coursework and projects. The ERFP department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to work on complex projects that shape antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology within the company. The selected candidate will be contributing to teams and executing tasks in various antenna and radome design life cycles. This is an Electrical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and/or professional interest in the application of technical antenna principles, concepts, and techniques.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems (to include experience or relevant course work).
  • Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas (to include experience or relevant course work).
  • Proficiency with Python, MATLAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages

Responsibilities

  • Development of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
  • Working with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
  • Working with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
  • Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and high performance computing resources (HPC).
  • Analyzing simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements.
