Anodizer 1 W. Springfield (Metal Finisher)
About The Position
This is a First Shift position for an Anodizer 1 in West Springfield. No experience is required as the company is willing to train. A can-do attitude is a must, and manufacturing experience is a plus. The role involves processing parts in tanks according to specifications, work orders, and other requirements, including calculating processing times, removing and rinsing parts, and immersing them in baths before finishing. The Anodizer will also be responsible for completing paperwork, overseeing and assisting line assistants to optimize throughput, evaluating and logging preventative maintenance on the processing line, and ensuring correct disposal of hazardous waste material. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
- Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
- Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
- Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
- Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
- Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
- Other duties as assigned
