About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Anode Operator to join their Manufacturing Assembly team in Cornelia, Georgia. This entry-level position supports internal teams by executing tasks according to defined procedures and standards. The role requires close adherence to administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality. The Anode Operator will maintain high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and independent judgment, while closely following established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. The position also involves cleaning and maintenance tasks to foster a safe working environment, installing basic components, building competency with routine machinery under supervision, and recording daily production records for performance analysis. Requirements

High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience, or training.
Generally, Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience
Chemical safety training or general chemical knowledge preferred.
Computer knowledge is required: Associate must be able to perform all functions of the job by using CIM, and Ethicon computer systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
Statistical and analytical problem solving.
Good math skills are required.
Must be able to add, subtract, divide, percentage, decimals, fractions and mechanical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

Anode electro-polishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Completes tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Cleans and conducts maintenance tasks based on best practices in the industry in order to foster a safe working environment.
Installs components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line.
Builds competency with routine machinery under direct supervision.
Records daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
Electro-polish all needle types using anodes.
Responsible for start-up, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of all anode finishing equipment.
Mix chemicals for blackening and blacken needles.
Process electro-polished needles through cleaning, siliconizing, and curing.
Responsible for performing weekly Preventative Maintenance.
Responsible for performing required attributes and variable testing of needles.
Associate must be able to perform all functions of the job by using CIM and MRP system.
Work in a team environment, behaving in a CREDO-based respectful manner.
Comply with all federally regulated programs.
Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines.
Comply with all job-specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary.
Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions.
Use microscope and scale as required.
Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g., ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.).
Consistently meet required work performance targets (REs), if applicable.
Support LEAN and Six Sigma initiatives.
Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2), including 6S and Operator Asset Care.
Accurately complete records as defined within job procedures (e.g., manual and/or electronic documentation).
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator.
Consistently meet required training due-date targets.
Assist process engineers and facilitators in troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
Support the Plant Diversity Process.
Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, as applicable.
Performs other duties as assigned, as needed.
