About The Position

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated entry-level Annuity Associate to join our Life Company Division. The position requires the person to: Communicate verbally or through written correspondence with agents to ensure the expanded use of annuity products and services. Key data from assigned source documents. Process incoming and outgoing requests from agents and policyholders, including but not limited to new business, basic policy changes, surrenders and transfers/rollovers/1035 exchanges. Work effectively with co-workers, agents, policyholders or other departments as needed. We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, instructions, policy and procedure manuals and retain information for future use
  • Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to resolve complex issues
  • An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
