About The Position

This role focuses on connecting people, businesses, and community partners with opportunities to support La Clinica's mission through annual giving campaigns, donor experiences, events, and stewardship. The Annual Giving Coordinator will work with the Development Director and other organizational partners to grow philanthropic support and build lasting relationships between La Clinica and the community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating engaging experiences, and translating community support into meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Two to three years of experience in development and/or communications/marketing.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals at various levels under stressful circumstances while exercising sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work productively both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing, to groups and individuals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience working collaboratively with a team to plan events and community activities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish annual giving goals that align with organizational strategy and manage a donor portfolio.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate La Clinica’s annual giving program, focusing on increasing support from new and existing donors.
  • Design and execute the annual giving calendar, including appeals, digital campaigns, crowdfunding, and giving societies.
  • Create donor experiences and stewardship activities to deepen donors’ connection to La Clinica’s mission.
  • Support the design and execution of La Clinica’s gratitude program, including gift recognition and campaign communications.
  • Serve as a link between Communications and Development for timely and accurate communication with charitable partners.
  • Lead sponsor solicitation and engagement, ensuring key contacts are included in donor- and community-focused events.
  • Plan and execute approved events, including strategy, logistics, stakeholder engagement, and donor recognition.
  • Support the Development Team with project design, community partner engagement, and meeting coordination.
  • Track Annual Giving Partners and Community Engagement work in Raiser’s Edge donor CRM and complete required reporting.
  • Maintain donor privacy and confidentiality, honor gift restrictions, follow applicable laws and policies, and ensure ethical fundraising practices.
