Samuel Merritt University is seeking dedicated educators for its College of Nursing. This role is vital in shaping the professional and personal development of graduates. The position is in the College of Nursing (CoN) and reports directly to the Director of Entry Level Master’s in Nursing Program (ELMSN). The role combines teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching involves creating environments that facilitate student learning and attainment of outcomes. Faculty are responsible for curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and revision. Service includes using academic and professional expertise to serve the University, the nursing profession, and the community. Scholarship involves activities that advance knowledge in nursing. This is an annualized position teaching Mental Health in the ELMSN program on the Sacramento campus. Service duties include student advising, office hours, and participation in University ceremonies. This position is open until filled.
