Develops 2D and 3D animations that explain complex scientific concepts and research outcomes. Collaborates with producers, designers, writers, and scientists to ensure technical accuracy and narrative clarity. Creates animated graphics, titles, lower thirds, and visual effects integrated into video productions. Supports rapid-turn animation needs for web, social media, events, and multimedia campaigns. Ensures all animated content aligns with NSF branding and accessibility standards (e.g., readable text, contrast). Uses Adobe After Effects and related tools; supports 3D animation software as required.
