About The Position

The Festival de la Frayeur at La Ronde is looking for new talent for its 2026 season. We are seeking professional, dynamic, and versatile artists to ensure performances in various thematic zones: horror zones (dark atmosphere, intense acting, scary characters), youth zones (colorful characters, playful and interactive approach), and physical or choreographed zones (visual performances, sustained energy). The role involves performing animations and/or shows according to the schedule, ensuring adherence to the staging and maintaining character consistency. This is an opportunity to make thousands of visitors shiver during one of Montreal's most anticipated fall events.

Requirements

Training in theater, acting for the camera, or graduation from a professional performing arts school.
Comfortable with physical acting, gestures, and improvised interactions.
Comfortable with the public.
Comfortable in outdoor environments and with a demanding schedule.
Professionalism, punctuality, and team spirit.
Available for annual auditions on August 4-5-6, 2026.
Available for work on specific dates in October and November 2026.
Available for prior rehearsals, fittings, or meetings.
