About The Position

PetWow is a family-owned veterinary company founded in 1971, operating two Northern Kentucky hospitals and a fleet of mobile wellness vehicles serving the Greater Cincinnati area. Their mission is to strengthen people and pets by making pet care easy. They are seeking a dependable, kind, and team-oriented Hospital Aide to support their grooming, kennel, hospital, and mobile care teams. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping animals. Responsibilities include kennel care, cleaning, grooming support, animal handling, and assisting with daily operations. This role requires flexibility in scheduling across their full range of operating hours and the ability to float between hospital locations. Schedules vary based on business and patient care needs and are not fixed week to week. This position requires consistent availability and is not compatible with an in-person school schedule or long-term schedule restrictions.

Requirements

  • Includes some evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule without guaranteed set shifts
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable in a physically active, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry animals of varying sizes
  • Strong communication and attention to detail

  • Animal care experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist groomers with bathing, handling, and pet preparation
  • Clean and maintain kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces
  • Safely and compassionately handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Support mobile operations wherever needed
  • Help create a positive experience for pets, clients, and teammates
