About The Position

Temp Paris Texas is not Hiring an Animal Control Officer Tuesday - Saturday 8-5 Pay $15.00

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED
• Valid drivers license Class “C”
• Required to sit, stand, or walk or extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
• Exposure to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls of complaints of stray animals which include making contact with the complainant, identifying strays, and picking up the animal and taking to the Animal Shelter.
• Cleans and sanitizes the Animal Shelter which includes hosing down the individual pens and the use of a sanitizer.
• Euthanizes animals by giving them a lethal injection and disposes of the carcasses in an incinerator.
• Delivers and picks up traps in order to catch and dispose of wild animals.
• Patrols areas where there are problems with animals.
• Maintains a regular and predictable work schedule.
