About The Position
The Animal Control Officer enforces animal and rabies control ordinances and licensing regulations within the municipality.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess valid Class "C" Texas driver's license or higher with good driving history.
- Knowledge of local geographic area.
- Ability to run and chase animals.
- Ability to work out-of-doors in all types of weather.
- Ability to work for long periods of time in a smoke-free workplace.
