About The Position
Animal Care Technician Xenia, OH $16.20/hour 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 365-day operation | Occasional OT Reptiles by Mack is a leading reptile breeding and wholesale facility specializing in captive-bred bearded dragons, crested geckos, leopard geckos, corn snakes, ball pythons, and more. We offer a fast-paced, hands-on work environment and promote from within.
Requirements
- Must enjoy working with animals
- Comfortable handling reptiles, insects, and feeder mice
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in warm (85–90°F), humid conditions
Nice To Haves
- Animal care or husbandry experience preferred
- Driver’s license a plus
Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and medicate reptiles and feeder animals
- Clean and disinfect enclosures
- Monitor animal health and report concerns
- Assist with egg incubation
- Maintain accurate care records
- Unload and organize feed and supplies
