About The Position
This position is responsible for the care and feeding of the university owned horses and the facilities in which they reside.
Requirements
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Experience handling and caring for horses, with the ability to recognize illness or injuries.
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Weekend feeding and pasture checks.
- Feed coverage during vacations.
- Grooming.
- Pasture maintenance or other husbandry activities depending on interest.
