This part-time position is supervised by ACC Supervisors and does not supervise any staff. The role involves direct animal care, including feeding, monitoring, and minor medical treatments. Responsibilities also include cleaning, assisting clients with adoptions, educating the public on animal care and SPCA programs, maintaining supplies and equipment, protecting confidential information, and representing the SPCA of Texas with excellent customer service. The role also involves engaging with volunteers and acting as an ambassador for the organization. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors. Eligible individuals may be required to operate an SPCA of Texas vehicle if they meet insurance requirements (21 years old) and are licensed to operate a motor vehicle in Texas.
