About The Position

Chambers Prairie Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time Animal Care Professional to join their team. This is a hands-on role where the individual will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of hospitalized feline and canine patients. Responsibilities include providing daily care, post-surgical walks, and maintaining a clean and comfortable hospital environment. The role is described as meaningful and impactful, contributing to patient care and supporting the veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and attention to hospitalized patients, helping ensure their comfort and well-being
• Walk patients following surgery and throughout their hospitalization as appropriate
• Clean and sanitize kennels and designated areas of the hospital
• Help maintain a clean, safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for patients
• Follow established cleaning and sanitation protocols carefully and consistently
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other team members
• Support the smooth operation of the hospital and jump in wherever needed
