About The Position

Veterinary United is looking for an overnight Veterinary Support Team/Animal Care Companion to join their PAWSOME team. The team is working towards changing veterinary medicine for the better by focusing on ecology, teamwork, positivity, and culture, and providing the best individual and complete care to their patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restriction.
• Must be comfortable working around potentially reactive animals.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFT FRIDAY-MONDAY

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Wash and sanitize food and water bowls.
• Launder bedding and towels used by the animals.
• Walk, exercise, and play with animals to provide physical activity and mental stimulation.
• Greeting and assisting clients dropping off or picking up their pets.
• Provide updates to pet owners on their animal’s condition and behavior during their stay.
