About The Position

CGI is actively seeking an Angular Developer to help modernize user interfaces integrated with the Sunflower suite supporting government asset management. As an Angular Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, creating custom modules, and integrating systems using Angular and related technologies. You will collaborate closely with fellow developers, engineers, and business analysts to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Opportunities for this position open to the applicant are in Washington, D.C.

Requirements

  • Academic background in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar major with extensive computer based or technical content.
  • 4+ years of relevant development experience, with a focus on Angular development.
  • Experience with a mixture of AngularJS 1.X, Angular 2.0+, TypeScript, Spring, SpringBoot, Java.
  • Oracle SQL/PostgreSQL competency.
  • Experience with GIT source control.
  • Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand the nature of business.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST.
  • Experience working under Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • ERP software experience.
  • Effective communication with non-technical staff and members of interdisciplinary teams.
