About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Overlake is currently seeking an Interventional Cardio/Angio Technologist to assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in the various diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology and Cath lab. Their mission is to provide exceptional patient care, as well as scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures. We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills and preferred lab experience, who has the ability to multitask, stay organized and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner. Invasive Vascular Services provides care for patients having angiograms with or without stent placement (cardiac, vascular, and cerebral including various complex neurointerventional procedures such as aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting and thrombectomy). In addition, care is provided in IR for patients such as nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation and port placement. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. Requirements

  • AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS)
  • If registry eligible, must obtain applicable registration within ninety days of hire
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification upon hire
  • Current ACLS
  • 24 CME credits required bi-annually
  • Mandatory AIDS education
  • Proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment (after October 18, 2021)
