About The Position
We are seeking two Anesthesiologists for ongoing coverage needs, starting August 1st. This is a full-time position, averaging 23 shifts per month, primarily in a supervisory capacity for CRNAs. The practice setting includes inpatient and off-site call coverage within a Level IV trauma center with 12 ORs. Cases encompass General, Cardiac, OB, and Pediatrics. TEE certification is not required. The patient population includes all ages, and the EMR system used is Cerner. Credentialing typically takes 90 days.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania licensure
- Board certification
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1-year Anesthesiology experience or equivalent
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

- Fellowship training in Anesthesiology (may be preferred depending on the position)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of system disorders in adults and potentially children (depending on the position)
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans and blood tests
- Perform procedures to diagnose and treat digestive conditions (depending on the scope of practice)
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Manage chronic digestive conditions and provide ongoing patient care
- Collaborate with other specialists when needed to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients
- Stay current on the latest advancements in specialty through continuing education
