About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our established Anesthesia team in Peoria, Illinois. This is a PRN position within an employed group practice that includes General and Cardiac Anesthesiology. The role offers shared call with excellent work-life balance and involves joining a collaborative team of 13 physicians and 38 CRNAs who provide Anesthesia coverage across three regional hospitals: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Proctor Hospital, and Carle Health Pekin Hospital. Carle Health Methodist Hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center recognized for its patient outcomes. Peoria, located on the Illinois River, is described as a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with numerous dining and entertainment options, as well as nearby residential communities with highly-rated public schools. Carle Health is a not-for-profit organization and is eligible for public service loan forgiveness.
