Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in anesthesiology
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency management
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Anesthesiology is preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Evaluate patient medical histories and determine appropriate anesthesia plans
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical experience
- Assess and manage post-operative patient pain relief
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technology
- Adhere to all safety and medical regulations within the practice
